ATTENTION: The health and safety of our patients, community, and staff is our top priority. We have been monitoring the evolution of COVID-19 and are taking precautionary measures to help protect our people. Following the recommendations of the California Optometric Association and the Center for Disease Control (CDC) we will not be seeing patients for routine eye care starting Thursday March 19, 2020. Currently we hope be back to serve you in full capacity in early April. Here is what we will be doing for you in the meantime: 1)EYE EMERGENCIES: If you are having an eye emergency (sudden floaters/flashes, pain, sudden vision loss etc.) call 911 or find the nearest ophthalmology office or call Solano Eye Specialist at 707-446-6500. 2)PICK-UPS: For those of you with eyeglass/contact lens orders that still need to be picked up, we will be available for pick up at the front desk on March 20, 23 and 30 from 9am-12pm. ONLY ONE PERSON WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE OFFICE AT A TIME. Alternately, at your request, we will ship them to your home at no charge. We will be happy to address any frame adjustment and fitting issues once we are back in full capacity. 3)CONTACT LENS ORDERS: If you need contact lenses during these few weeks, please reach out to us by email or phone. We will provide FREE shipping to your home, with hope of keeping your business local and keeping our doors open. We understand it may be an inconvenience to delay your routine eye examination, but we have decided to prioritize the well-being of our community in order to try to prevent the spread of this virus so we don’t overwhelm our hospitals all at once.
